Fields: Select SMS Fields

Specifies which search fields to include in the "Text This to Me" text messages and the order in which the fields appear.

"Text This To Me" truncates some labels and field content at a specific length in an attempt to keep the message below the text limit. However, depending on the number of fields and the length of their content, the fields at the end of the text message may be truncated or completely omitted. You can edit label names in Manage Search fields (see Managing search fields), but this will also change the label in detail displays and search result displays.

You can include any of the following fields:

Available SMS Fields

Displays a list of all the available search fields that can be included in a text message.

To add search fields to the message, you can select or multiselect one or more fields and then choose the Select button, or you can double-click individual fields to move them to the Selected SMS Fields list.

Selected SMS Fields

Displays the list of fields selected for inclusion in the message. Choosing a field to include adds the data from that field to the Text This To Me message.

Note: If you choose not to select any fields, then no fields will be included in the message.

To remove fields from the message, you can select or multiselect one or more fields and then choose the Remove button, or you can double-click individual fields to move them to the Available SMS Fields.

You can also configure the order in which the fields display in the message by selecting a single field and using the arrow buttons to move it up or down in the list.

To add, remove, or reorder fields in the message, choose the field and then use these buttons:

Select	Moves the selected field from the Available SMS Fields list to the Selected SMS Fields list as the last field.
Remove	Removes the selected field from the Selected SMS Fields list and returns it to the Available SMS Fields list.
Move Up	Moves the selected field up one position in the Selected SMS Fields list. Note: If you select the first field in the current list, this action is disabled.
Move Down	Moves the selected field down one position in the Selected SMS Fields list. Note: If you select the last field in the current list, this action is disabled.

Select

Moves the selected field from the Available SMS Fields list to the Selected SMS Fields list as the last field.

Remove

Removes the selected field from the Selected SMS Fields list and returns it to the Available SMS Fields list.

Move Up

Moves the selected field up one position in the Selected SMS Fields list.

Note: If you select the first field in the current list, this action is disabled.

Move Down

Moves the selected field down one position in the Selected SMS Fields list.

Note: If you select the last field in the current list, this action is disabled.

Note: These buttons are context-sensitive based on which fields(s) you choose and which action you are trying to perform. For example, if you select a field from the Available SMS Fields list, the Remove, Move Up, and Move Down options are disabled because those actions are not available for available fields. If you select a field from the Selected SMS Fields list, the Remove, Move Up, and Move Down options are enabled because those actions are available for selected fields.
